Sun Siyam Resorts celebrates big wins at World Luxury Restaurant Awards

Leading local resort operator Sun Siyam Resorts has celebrated three big wins at the recently concluded World Luxury Restaurant Awards 2017.
At the gala ceremony of World Luxury Restaurant Awards, which took place at the JW Marriott Hanoi hotel in Vietnam on July 22, Trio at The Sun Siyam Iru Fushi Maldives received two awards; Luxury Resort Restaurant in Indian Ocean and Fine Dining Cuisine in the Maldives.
Meanwhile, Well Done at Sun Aqua Vilu Reef was named the best Luxury Seafood Restaurant in Indian Ocean.
The recognitions by the World Luxury Restaurant Awards follow similar wins by both The Sun Siyam Iru Fushi and Sun Aqua Vilu Reef at the World Luxury Spa Awards.
The Spa by Thalgo at The Sun Siyam Iru Fushi received the continental award for the best Luxury Resort Spa in Indian Ocean, while the Sun Aqua Spa at the Sun Aqua Vilu Reef was given a continental award for the best Luxury Hideaway Spa in Indian Ocean and a regional award for the best Luxury Destination Spa in Indian Ocean. The Sun Aqua Spa also received another two awards in the country category; Best Luxury Boutique Spa and Best Luxury Wellness Spa in the Maldives.

With over 100,000 votes cast for 1,000 entrants in 78 categories this year, the World Luxury Restaurant Awards recognise restaurants across the globe for their culinary excellence and memorable experiences, as well as assessing the quality of the atmosphere and service. The awards aim to provide luxury restaurants with increased recognition as well as introduce them to potential new guests, both local and international. Votes come from both guests and industry experts, thus providing a balanced and unbiased outcome based on the food experience as a whole.
