For Ian Bell Nowhere Would Have Compared With Maldives

Maldives Promotion House – People say that there is just one explanation for the immense amount of celebrities that indulge in the Maldivian luxuries. But sometimes it’s more because of the inspiration Maldives provides. England cricketer Ian Bell is also among the many visitors to Maldives.

Ian Ronald Bell is an English cricketer who plays international cricket for the England cricket team. He also plays county cricket for Warwickshire County Cricket Club. He is a right-handed higher/middle order batsman, described in The Times as an “exquisite rapier,”and occasional right-arm medium pace bowler. He is also noted for his sharp reflexes and often fields in close catching positions. He has scored sixteen Test centuries and one ODI 100. He is one of only a handful of Batsman to have scored a test century against all current test playing nations except Zimbabwe.

He surprised his delighted wife Chantal Louise Bastock with a luxury honeymoon in the Maldives. The sportsman and Chantal stayed at Velassaru resort in April. Unlike many who visit Maldives and feel in the heart of hearts that this tiny paradise should be unspoken of and hidden from the world, Ian did express his thoughts.

“With it being our honeymoon Chantal and I were looking for the holiday of a lifetime and Velassaru did not disappoint. The resort, the service and surroundings were so outstanding that nowhere else would have compared,” he said.

Secluded but not isolated Velassaru is located on a private coral island in the turquoise Indian Ocean. From the Ibrahim Nasir International Airport, take an exhilarating 25-minute speedboad ride to the island. Skim over vast expanses of coral and sea life. Glimpses of miniature Edens rising from the sea. Arrive in Velassaru’s safe harbour, cool welcome drinks waiting.

A heron alights, and your holiday begins. The finest white sandy beach and turquoise lagoon accessible by speedboat. Minimal chic revealed in teak, stone, thatch. Mid-ocean niches of intimacy beckoning, bathed in light.

Seven nights’ B&B at the resort is from £1,285 per person including return flights from the UK, October 1st through December 15th including transfers.
