The St. Regis Maldives Vommuli Resort has been honoured with the 2019 Maldives’ Best Resort Spa Award and Indian Ocean’s Best Resort Spa Award, in recognition of its world-renowned Iridium Spa.

The prestigious titles were presented to the private island resort for the third consecutive year during the recently-held fifth annual World Spa Awards gala ceremony, celebrating the top spas and companies around the globe for their commitment to excellence in wellness as rated by leading spa tourism professionals and guests.

Launched in 2015, the annual World Spa Awards is spa tourism’s highest accolade and looks to honour and reward excellence within the spa and wellness industry through considerations of innovation, service and best practice on a global scale.

“We are incredibly thrilled to receive this honour as the best resort spa in the Maldives and in the Indian Ocean for the third year in a row by the World Spa Awards,” Vincent Pauchon, General Manager at The St. Regis Maldives Vommuli Resort, was quoted in a statement, as saying.

“Our signature Iridium Spa is an oasis of opulent tranquility where the unfettered sea vistas and healing sea breeze from the Indian Ocean overwhelm the senses, offering a holistic approach to wellness and rejuvenation.
