An island playground
Maldives Promotion House – Soneva Fushi has always welcomed families with open arms seeking to create environments that are natural playgrounds for adults and children alike to adventure and explore by barefoot or bicycle. Whether it be swimming, snorkelling or diving in search of turtles, angelfish or manta rays. Discovering deserted islands aboard a kayak or traditional Dhoni.
Stargazing from the Observatory or enjoying a family-friendly film in our outdoor Cinema Paradiso, lifelong family memories are made here. This summer Soneva Fushi is hosting two dedicated 7-day children’s camp from 25th June to 2nd July and 9th – 16th July 2013.
The weeklong programme covers a carefully thought-out range of topics and experiences to entertain and educate our little guests, ensuring a truly unique summer holiday. We have called this week ‘An island Programme’ as we want our island to become exactly that, a safe environment where children are free to roam, run and explore letting their minds and imagination wander as freely as their barefeet. A playground with only natural boundaries bursting with wildlife and jungle corners to discover, experiences to be enjoyed and fun memories to remember forever.
Each day covers a separate theme categorised as Back to Nature, Culture, Sea and Sky, Waste to Wealth, Life by the Sea, Wellness and So What Now? Activities include tours of the organic herb and vegetable gardens, a trip to neighbouring Eydafushi island to learn how to write your name in Dhivehi, Maldivian cooking classes, guided snorkelling lessons, beach clean ups, stargazing lessons, Eco arts and crafts, swimming with Manta Rays, yoga lessons, massages, movie nights at Cinema Paradiso … the list goes on. Click here for the complete programme.
For more information please contact reservations on resa-fushi@soneva.com – prices start at $100 a day per child and $50 a day for additional children.
