Just Veg by Atmosphere, the gourmet vegetarian restaurant at Atmosphere Kanifushi Maldives, has won the Certificate of Excellence 2017 by TripAdvisor.

For the past year, Just Veg by Atmosphere has maintained a constant No.1 ranking on TripAdvisor’s list of Fine‐Dining Restaurants in the Maldives.

“This prestigious acknowledgement from TripAdivsor.com comes after a series of awards, endorsements and rave reviews from guests, and takes Just Veg by Atmosphere to a whole new level and a truly remarkable accomplishment,” an announcement by Atmosphere Hotels and Resorts read.

Now in its seventh year, the Certificate of Excellence designation recognises establishments that consistently earn great reviews on TripAdvisor from travellers.

It accounts for the quality, quantity and recency of reviews submitted by travellers on TripAdvisor over a 12-month period. To qualify, a business must maintain an overall TripAdvisor bubble rating of at least four out of five, have a minimum number of reviews and must have been listed on TripAdvisor for at least 12 months.

Just Veg by Atmosphere, the first gourmet vegetarian restaurant in the Maldives, is open to all guests for lunch and dinner throughout their stay as part of the Platinum Plus experience, and has been one of the most popular aspects of the Atmosphere Kanifushi Experiences for guests.

The Platinum Plus experience is a uniquely formed all-inclusive plan by the resort which offers guests an all‐encompassing, five‐star beach holiday bliss. This experience has won the hearts of guests holidaying in the hassle-free beach resort over the past three years since its launch.

Located in the northern Lhaviyani atoll and accessible by a 30-minute scenic seaplane flight from the main Velana International Airport, Atmosphere Kanifushi is approximately two kilometres in length and 90 metres wide. The island has an abundance of lush green palm trees and tropical vegetation, and is surrounded by a large natural coral reef.

Atmosphere Kanifushi offers 132 detached villas and suites separated by tropical vegetation for guest privacy. All villas have direct access to the pristine white beach and the beautiful turquoise lagoon beyond, while being surrounded by some of the tallest coconut trees in the region and lush tropical vegetation. The entire resort has been designed and built with a fusion of traditional and modern architecture, offering an overall contemporary feel with a Maldivian touch.

Atmosphere Kanifushi boasts five dining options and two pool bars. The Spice features authentic buffet-style international cuisine and live cooking stations, while Just Veg is the first pure vegetarian restaurant in the Maldives. The Sunset serves a la carte dining and Teppanyaki Grill.
