Maldives Promotion House – Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC) has appointed OM Tourism as its PR Agent in the Indian market.
The main role of the Agency would be to develop and implement public relations campaigns to position Maldives as a preferred tourist destination for the Indian travellers, increase investor confidence as well as to increase market share from the Indian market and to work towards achieving one million tourist arrivals target of the Maldives in 2012.
OM Tourism is an experienced public relations and event management company focused on marketing and positioning of international destinations. With their understanding of the Indian market together with their experience in working with global destinations and hotel groups, MMPRC is confident that the Agency would be able to facilitate Maldives tourism in boosting destination marketing and generating awareness on the destination. The period of contract is one year starting from May 2012.
India is the third largest market from the Asian region to Maldives and with its growing economy and the increasing in outbound travel, strong PR campaigns in the market could attract more travellers to Maldives.
