Cheval Blanc Randheli appoints Laurent Chancel as General Manager

Cheval Blanc Randheli has appointed Laurent Chancel as its new General Manager.

A professional chef, Chancel joined Cheval Blanc Randheli in 2013, as part of the resort’s pre-opening team. He served as the resort’s Culinary Director until joining Cheval Blanc St-Barth Isle de France in mid-2016 as its Resident Manager.

During his time serving as the Culinary Director of Cheval Blanc Randheli, Chancel shaped and built the strong basis of the culinary art concept at the resort. He built the foundation for all the culinary teams to excel in their art and passion, illustrating Cheval Blanc’s core values of savoir-faire and creativity.

After a one-year stint at Cheval Blanc St-Barth Isle de France, Chancel returned to Cheval Blanc Randheli in mid-2017. He has since worked closely with his predecessor Renato W. Chizzola in the capacity of Resident Manager, before taking up the position of General Manager on September 1.

Accessible by a scenic 40-minute seaplane flight from the main Velana International Airport, Cheval Blanc Randheli is one-of-a-kind exclusive property from the luxury fashion group Louis Vuitton Moët Hennessy (LVMH).
