Huvafen Fushi Maldives welcomes back Noel Cameron as General Manager

Huvafen Fushi Maldives has appointed Noel Cameron as its General Manager, welcoming him back to the timeless Maldivian icon after nine years.

Having worked with leading international hotel brands such as Hilton and Constance Hotels, and having served in leadership positions with some of the most luxurious resorts in highly sought after locations such as Mauritius, Seychelles, Bali, Vietnam and France amongst others, Noel brings exceptional creativity and expertise to his new yet familiar role at Huvafen Fushi. He will guide the resort on its transcendent journey to a bold, sophisticated future back under the management of leading local resort operator Universal Resorts.

Noel, who served as the General Manager of Huvafen Fushi from 2009 to 2011, will drive the collective vision to redefine this Maldivian paradise once again, retaining its intriguing allure and sense of natural wonder whilst creating a renewed sense of sophistication.

Conceptualised and opened over a decade ago by Universal Resorts, Huvafen Fushi built a deserved reputation amongst dynamic connoisseurs, seduced by the sensuous embrace of this iconic island. Now back in the arms of Universal Resorts, the perennial poise and allure of this fashionable global icon has been lovingly rekindled; reinvigorated for a new generation of sophisticates drawn irresistibly by the promise of a glamorously grown-up rendezvous.

The adults-only island’s 44 enrapturing, naturally modern villas – all with private pools – are refreshed, whilst its famed spa — world’s first and only underwater spa — has been enhanced by celebrated wellness practitioners from PURE Massage to Teresa Tarmey.

New culinary experiences at Huvafen Fushi include modern Japanese cuisine with a Latin twist at Feeling Koi and designer drinks dreamt up by mixologists from London’s PURL, complementing the established gastronomic lineup including subterranean wine trove Vinum, alfresco Italian Forno and relaxed deck dining at Celsius.
